The EnD

The books on the shelves stare at me quietly like any other thing in the room. If only I could hush my inner critic as easily as an inanimate object lying on the floor. If the exact same words were to come from someone else, the scenario would have been smashing - quite literally.
It is the looking Glass wars within the walls of mercy as they cry with silence in Black and White. How gravely mistaken can you be from such a beautiful lie and anticipate those selfish words.
It is said that a blind horse can never win a race, what if it didnt choose to loose its sight! Can you still blame it for not knowing the path it's taking? I am afraid its not good enough to carve the lines of destiny.
At the end of the day, we all hide behind the tears of a clown.. deceiving yet so convincing to cause a change of heart.

Diary of a Nobody

Burnt Bridges

Dont waste your time trying.. as the sharpest of knives or the toughest of words cant pierce my heart of stone n watch me as i disapper into the sea of lies and pretense. Turn off the lights and let me watch my life on the flickering screen and curse as i struggle to find the need for redemption with all my rage quickly flooding the scene wiping out every bit of sympathy left for me. If i am so wrong then i hope there is some awful truth in your bloodshot eyes. I pace my every step over the pieces of agony and sweep away my memories under the covers, losing my patience with every passing second to turn them into ashes. The sedation techniques lose their effect as consciousness start to peak bringing back the buried shreds of denial. Not now or forever will i ever let you fix the static and build what is already burnt and save myself from the misery of walking on thin ice polished with a picture-perfect lie. Deep and meaningliess like the Flawless Fallen Angel was infact just a decoy wating to dissipate into shattered fiction.

Raven`s Gate

She stared blankly at the flickering screen in front of her only to realise that it had just been a few minutes before she had glanced back again.. "still have hours to kill" she thought. Amongst all the hustle in heathrow, a nearby bookstore seemed to be the only escape, especially when the company wasnt exactly what you would call great.. actually, she doubted they would hardly notice she was even gone.

Making her way through the never ending shelves one after the other, she didnt exactly know what she was looking for or was she even looking to find anything at all?..another random scroll through the place until she stumbled upon a particular one.. quite intriguing in other words.. And, that was the first time I picked up Raven's Gate. Four years on and I am still hooked on the Power of 5 series by Anthony Horowitz.

Its a definate must-read if a bit of supernatual fiction is what you fancy! I've always been fascinated by the idea of "normal" people leading a not-so-normal life but still being able to relate to the characters as if you would have done the exact same thing if you were ever thrown into a similar situation. The thing about this series is, not every fantasy fiction has to necessarily take place in what we like to call an alternative world or an `otherworld.. what most authors seem to do. That is of course from this particualr reader`s point of view.

Besides this, I dont want to go into any plot details or anything and create spoilers. lol...
Will talk about the man behind the series i.e. Horowitz, later on.

Anyways, thats all for now untill i`ll blab on about something else in my other blogs!
