Raven`s Gate

She stared blankly at the flickering screen in front of her only to realise that it had just been a few minutes before she had glanced back again.. "still have hours to kill" she thought. Amongst all the hustle in heathrow, a nearby bookstore seemed to be the only escape, especially when the company wasnt exactly what you would call great.. actually, she doubted they would hardly notice she was even gone.

Making her way through the never ending shelves one after the other, she didnt exactly know what she was looking for or was she even looking to find anything at all?..another random scroll through the place until she stumbled upon a particular one.. quite intriguing in other words.. And, that was the first time I picked up Raven's Gate. Four years on and I am still hooked on the Power of 5 series by Anthony Horowitz.

Its a definate must-read if a bit of supernatual fiction is what you fancy! I've always been fascinated by the idea of "normal" people leading a not-so-normal life but still being able to relate to the characters as if you would have done the exact same thing if you were ever thrown into a similar situation. The thing about this series is, not every fantasy fiction has to necessarily take place in what we like to call an alternative world or an `otherworld.. what most authors seem to do. That is of course from this particualr reader`s point of view.

Besides this, I dont want to go into any plot details or anything and create spoilers. lol...
Will talk about the man behind the series i.e. Horowitz, later on.

Anyways, thats all for now untill i`ll blab on about something else in my other blogs!
